Every claim
a lie. Every lie
a gamble.

Commune Coup is a fast online card game of bluffing and deduction. Hold two hidden roles, claim whatever you like, and call out your friends when the story stops adding up. The last player with influence takes the court.

Games run five to ten minutes. Grudges last considerably longer.

The Court

Duke card art

Duke

Taxes the treasury for three coins and blocks foreign aid. Old money, older grudges.

Assassin card art

Assassin

Pays three coins to remove an influence. Cheap, quiet, and rarely sentimental.

Captain card art

Captain

Steals two coins from anyone at the table, and stops other captains from doing the same.

Ambassador card art

Ambassador

Trades cards with the court deck and shrugs off thieves. Knows everyone, trusts no one.

Contessa card art

Contessa

Blocks assassination attempts with a raised eyebrow. Untouchable, and she knows it.

II

How It Plays

01

Claim a role

On your turn, take an action. Tax as the Duke, steal as the Captain, assassinate for three coins. You do not need the card. You need the nerve.

02

Call the bluff

Any claim can be challenged. If the liar is caught, they lose an influence. If the claim was true, the accuser pays instead. Choose your moment.

03

Take the court

Lose both cards and you are out. Outlast the table through bluffs, blocks, and the occasional seven coin coup that nobody can stop.

Built for the Table

Private Rooms

Create a room and share a six character code or an invite link. Your table, your rules.

Public Games

Browse open tables and jump into a match in seconds. No account setup, just pick a name.

Cunning Bots

Fill empty seats with bots across three difficulties. The hardest ones count cards, bluff deliberately, and fight when cornered.

Quick Chat

Emotes and table talk presets for gloating, accusing, and unconvincing denials.

Leaderboards

Per room win tracking, so the rivalry survives between games.

Fast Turns

Turn timers keep the table moving. A full game fits inside a coffee break.
